Ears of corn designated for seeds are dried in the stationary thick layer. Such a process is rather difficult to calculate as the parameters change with the time. Analytical-graphical method was developed by Stanislaw Pabis. Some coefficients, depending on the corn variety, ought to be known for calculation. These coefficients for two home-grown varieties of corn i.e. imported from France LG-11 var and Kb-270 local var. were determined in the paper.
