The objective of this study was to find out the effect of weather on some economic crops such as lowland rice, corn, sugarcane, soybean, tapioca, kenaf and cotton in some provinces of Thailand, and to analyze technological advance associated with the production of these crops. The time series data for 11 years were used in this study. The method of analysis used was Bernard Cury's Model with the multiple regression analysis. It could be concluded from the study that the yield of lowland rice in Changwat Phrae and Petchaboon, the yield of corn in Changwat Loei, Nakornratchasima and Supanburi, the yield of sugarcane in Changwat Supanburi and Kanchanaburi, the yield of kenaf in Changwat Udornthani, Khonkan and Loie, indicated significantly the effect of weather on these crops yield. The result showed that when the aridity index increased, the crops yield also increased. The analysis of other crops such as soybean, tapioca and cotton didnt show the significant effect of weather on their yields. The analysis of technological advance revealed that only the yields of lowland rice and sugarcane had increased significantly over time.
