The long-termed data on size-weight age and sex-structure of freshwater heat-loving shrimp population, its fecundity and dynamic number are analysed. It has been established that unlike the population, of shrimp from some South-East Asia reservoirs and reservoirs of thermal power stations coolers characterized by higher growth rates and fecundity because of better ecological conditions. The prey fish, especially the perch, make intensive use of shrimp as food thus restaining their growth and number in the reservoir.
