Three types of motor-vehicle turning mechanisms are described: the steering clutch type, the differential type and the freewheel-clutch type. The influence of the turning mechanism on the bend speed at turning is discussed. It is stated that using a free-wheel clutch turning mechanisms the vehicle speed at turning increases. The opposite effect is observed if a steering-clutch turning mechanism is used.
