Results of field investigations on the effect of sprinkler irrigation on grass yields and nitrogen content dynamics in the rhizosphere of medium heavy mineral soils are presented. Optimum moisture of the rhizosphere results in a more intensive nitrogen intake by plants and in distribution of this element in the soil profile.
