Water potential, osmotic potential, and abscisic acid levels were studied in four weeks old seedlings subjected to water stress. The research was conducted to know whether any of the above parameters measured could be related to the degree of performance of successive cycles (0, 4, 8) improved to drought conditions in Tuxpeno maize. There were not significant differences in water potential, osmotic potential, and abscisic acid among the cycles 0, 4 and 8.
