The feeding of young cattle in 27 state farms is analysed. Considerable differentation in the composition of diets and their frequent changes, particularly in the summer season was stated. The calculations proved that the weight gains were affected significantly by the energy concentration of the diet and high significantly by the concentrate content in the rations.
