The use of adsorbants obtained from the Usma and Priekuli clay deposits for rape oil bleaching has been studied. For obtaining high quality adsorbants different clay types have been treated with the sulpharic or the hydrochloric acids of different concentration. The adsorbants with the best bleaching quality have been determined. The data of the experiments are shown in three tables. It has been found that the clays of the above mentioned deposits can be used for obtaining adsorbents for this purpose.
