Zmeny obsahu ligninu a fenolov v antropogenne ovplyvnenych travnych porastov.

In 1992-94 the contents of some secondary metabolites and their effect on nutritive value of anthropogenic grassland herbage were investigated. The concentration of lignin, esterified phenolic acids, tannins and index of potential negative activity (IANP) were determined in particular botanical groups - grasses, legumes and meadow herbs. Higher IANP values were found in herbage dominated by dicotyledonous plants. Average contents in hay dry matter did not exceed 7% for lignin, 1.46% for esterified phenolic acids and 3.58% for soluble phenols. The highest IANP value was observed in crops of the 3rd cut, the lowest in 1st cut, independently of applied fertilization.
