Efficacy of whole herd vaccination with low dosis of B-19 strain in a Brucellae-infected dairy herd was studied. No abortions due to B-19 were recorded on any of 13 vaccinated pregnant cows and no B-19 organisms were isolated on milk cultures of vaccinated cows. Vaccination gave rise to a short termed, low humoral immunoresponse. Whole herd vaccination seemed to stop the spread of infection within the herd, in spite of reactor's retention.
