Theoretical basis and computer programme to simulate the grain material motion in the space between the moving and stationary elements of agricultural machine, have been developed and described in this paper. The simulation of threshing process carried out using this programme, enables to investigate the course of releasing grains from the ears, to compute the forces acting in threshing unit as well as its power consumption and the percentage of separated, unthreshed or damaged grains.
