The Odra valley, after building the structure the Brzeg Dolny dam in 1958, was divided into two zones with different effecting of the Odra water levels on the water conditions in the adjacent areas. Up the dam the valley area is supplied by waters filtering from reservoir and down the weir the valley is drained by river. The soil water management in period IV-IX 2010 in medium alluvial soils in the Odra valley down and up the structure is compared in the paper. The forming of water levels of groundwater in the Odra valley, meteorological conditions and course of water reserves in layers 0-50 and 0-100 and 0-150 cm in soils with different conditions of top soil layer feeding are presented.
