The present review paper discusses impact of climate conditions (temperature and rainfalls) to appearance of about 25 field crop pests in Vojvodina province (northern part of Serbia) during the first decade in 21st century. During growing season, in the period 2001-2010, average temperature was 18.8 0C, which was 0.9 higher than long time average. The average precipitations in growing season was 402 mm, that is 17% more comparing to long time average. The warmest years, in decreasing order, were 2003, 2009, 2002 and 2007. In spite of high temperatures during these four years, there were no appearance and mass reproduction of new field crop pests from Mediterranean. Comparing to the last two decades in 20th century, when Bothynoderes punctiventris Germ., Pemphigus fuscicornis Koch. i Diabrotica virgifera virgifera Le Conte caused great damage on field crops, during the first decade of 21st century, the largest damage caused Helicoverpa armigera Hübn. Seems that mass insecticidal seed treatment of sugar beet, corn and sunflower in the period 2001-2010 contributed in reducing harm of wireworms, Tanymecus dilaticollis Gyll., Chaetocnema tibialis Ill. and other field crop pests.
