In this paper results of milking productivity depending on farm capacity are shown. Research was conducted on seven farms of different capacity (1 big, 2 middle and 4 small farms). The time for milking per cow (preparation and cleanup, milking) was measured as well as milk yield, based on which the productivity of milking was determined. According to research, size of the farm influenced the milking productivity very significantly (p is less than 0.01). Highest milking productivity was at large farms and lowest was on small farms (the individual dairy farmers).
