Plant colonization ability of Klebsiella planticola SL09, and asymbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacterium, under different methods of out inoculation was studied. The phylosphere and seed of oats were inoculated with a 24-hour liquid culture of Klebsiella planticola SL09, titer10**8-10**9 cells/cm**3, 1:50 dilution. The results of this study showed both persistence and the ability of the diazotrophic bacterium to migrate in two directions, from the root to the leaf and vice versa, suggesting that the bacterium is an endophytic microorganism.
