HACCP system ensures that through the five steps and seven principals we identify, assess and manage risk factors in production, processing and distribution of food. Integrated pest control is a process that predicts and prevents activities and pest infestation by combining several strategies to achieve long term sustainable solutions. Elements of integrated control of harmful organisms may include education, proper waste disposal, control, building repair, maintenance, biological and mechanical control methods, changes in the environment and the application of biocides. Sequential activities, based on risk analysis and taking preventive and corrective measures provide production of safe and biologically-quality food. The consequences of the presence of harmful organisms must be reduced to an acceptable level where economic, health and environmental risks must be minimal.
