Atmospheric precipitation was caught over the period of 2005-2007 on a research - experimental basis of the Slovak Agricultural University Nitra - Dolná Malanta. The territory of interest lies about 5,000 m on east from the campus of the SAU in Nitra. In the precipitation catch, we determined the concentrations of SO42-, Cl- and P-PO43-, as well as their input through rainfalls into the soil. From the results it follows that the average concentration of sulphates during the entire monitored period was 13.86 mg per cubic dm. Each year of monitored period in an average 84.02 kg SO42- per ha was deposited by atmospheric precipitation into the soil. Calculated to S-SO42-, the average deposition for the entire monitored period represented 27.98 kg S-SO42- per ha. The average concentration of chlorides during the entire monitored period was 10.38 mg per cubic dm. Each year of monitored period in an average 59.96 kg Cl- per ha was deposited by atmospheric precipitation into the soil. Compared to SO42- and Cl-, the concentrations of P-PO43- were significantly lower. Their average concentration for the entire monitored period represented 0.238 mg per cubic dm. Each year of monitored period in an average 1.36 kg P-PO43- per ha was deposited by atmospheric precipitation into the soil.
