The GNSS technology is very actually for forest mapping. The paper deals with utilization of RTK methods for GNSS measurement. The advantages of RTK methods are the high flexibility and real time of measurements. They favor those methods before another one. The static method brings the highest accuracy but it is more time consuming and it require post processing. The rationalization of forest mapping is utilization of SKPOS service with classic terrestrial measurement.
