The paper deals with the possibility of visualisation of growth prognosis SIBYLA's simulator using approaches of structural modeling with emphasis on the growth grammars. It is based on the results achieved abroad, but also it is enriched with the possibility of interface to semi-empirical growth simulator SIBYLA. It is worked with the growth grammars of the Norway spruce (Picea abies L.), which were introduced by KURTH (1999). There are added algorithms which allow using of growth simulator SIBYLA prognosis like input data. For this purpose it was needed to implement database in the embedded mode into growth grammar's project. Visualisation is done in GroIMP platform and is divided into two parts. The first part relies on results of Slovak research in field of trunk morphology and shape curves of trunk of different tree specics. The second part deals with the tree crown modeling, based mainly on the foreign research. The results showed on the potention of these kind approaches to modeling in response to the further refining of growth prognosis of the SIBYLA simulator. The results can be used in field of trunk quality assessment, its modeling, but also in field of popularization of science of forestry.
