The tree species Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh. is one of 10 tree species planted widely in Vietnam. Until now studies of Eucalyptus wood anatomy in our country in particular as a basis for research, wood using appropriately limited. Description of white Eucalyptus wood structure is based on the 5 across disks with 3cm thickness cut out from 5 sample trees at brushhight. The sample trees was 15 years old and planted solitary in Tu Liem (Hanoi). White Eucalyptus wood has gray-white sapwood about 3 - 5cm thickness; heartwood is pink brown, then turns reddish brown, dark brown. The grain is straight, but often interlocked, wavy, The vessels are exclusively solitary, the vessel density is medium. Vessels in the heartwood are closed by tyloses. Axial parenchyma is diffuse, diffuse in aggregates, scanty paratracheal. White eucalyptus wood is heavy and hard, suitable for a wide range of products and for construction. However, wood has some unfavorable characters and it is necessary to give attention for use, processing and preservation. In general, white Eucalyptus wood is difficult to handle and preserve caused by interlocked straight, tuloses in vessels, cristals in parenchyma, chemical contains in rays. Also wood consists three structural different wood zones, they are primary wood zone, secondary heartwood zone and sapwood, thus making the timber more heterogeneous, easily to check and collapse and deform. To produce high qualitative products from white Eucalytus wood, the first a homogeneous material must be created, so that the different wood zones should be separated.
