The report describes the methods and computer programs employed in the processing of ambient noise data resulting from the deployment of Acoustic Data Capsules during the period of 1971 to 1973. It summarizes the techniques and programs used to analyze third octave ambient noise, and narrow band frequence spectra, as well as high speed analog-to-digital processing.
