Study of Shipbuilding Capacity and Requirements
1968
Frankel, Ernst G.
It is the purpose of this study to discuss some of the requirements for increased ship manufacturing productivity. In order to accomplish improvements, an integrated effort must be made to utilize the multitude of modern production, material handling, control, management, and labor effectiveness methods. Only if and when ship production is transformed into a well balanced and planned production process will substantial improvement occur.
