During the 2007-2009 periods, a field trial was carried out with the purpose of studying the insecticidal preparation Regent 800 WG fipronil 800g/kg at doses of 5, 10, 15 and 20 g/da for insect pest control of the forage pea. Karate Zolon - 20 ml/da is used for the standard. The treatment was performed twice at the stages of budding and beginning of flowering and twice at beginning of flowering and flowering. Unsystematic fenilpirazolov insecticide Regent 800 WG used in doses of 15 and 20 g/da had a high efficiency 89.0-100.0% and its toxic action continued in the next few days after introduction 72.1-87.4%. The lowest percentage of damaged grains by Bruchus pisi 3.1 to 4.5% was found in treatment of plants with Regent 800 WG at a dose of 15 and 20 g/da at the stages of budding and beginning of flowering. The degree of damage decreased from 56.9 to 67.2% compared to the consistent application of the insecticide at the stages of beginning of flowering and full flowering. Twice treatment with Regent 800 WG at doses 15 and 20 g/da at the stages of budding and beginning of flowering increased grain yield compared to the control by 22.5 2577.4 kg/ha to 29.1% 2716.8 kg/ha – on average 13.8% more than the treatment at beginning of flowering and flowering, increased number of grains per plant from 21.2 to 24.6% and weight of grains per plant from 36.9 to 43.4%.
