In course of the research there was studied the influence of lithium carbonate on morphology of the lymphoid apparatus of a wall of a thin intestine, diverticulum of Meckel, caecal tonsils of the chickens vaccinated against infectious bursal disease. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of the research it was revealed that oral immunization of chickens against infectious bursal disease by a virus-vaccine from a strain 'KMIEV'-61 together with lithium carbonate and without it did not render essential influence on epithelium structure of intestinal villus, intestinal glands (crypth), muscular and serous covers in thin intestines, diverticulum of Meckel and caecal tonsils. Application of the dry live virus-vaccine from the strain 'KMIEV'-61 promoted development of characteristic immunomorphologic reactions in adenoid tissue of a gastroenteric path of poultry characterized by accumulation of plasmoblast and plasmatic cells of various degree of a maturity in thin intestines, diverticulum of Meckel and caecal tonsils, and also increase in number and the sizes of lymphoid nodules in caecal tonsils. Immunization of chickens against infectious bursal disease on a background of use of lithium carbonate in comparison with application of one vaccine promoted more intensive development of nodular lymphoid tissue in a wall of thin intestines, diverticulum of Meckel, caecal tonsils and also substantially stimulated accumulation of plasmatic cells in lymphoid tissue, associated with a digestive tube.
