In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed the efficiency of gluten water use as a preserving element in forage silage making and its influence on dairy productivity of milking cows. In course of the study there was analysed the chemical composition and nutrient value of silos, dairy efficiency of cows and economic efficiency of use the silage forages prepared with gluten water. It has been established that the preserving action of gluten water was caused by the presence of dairy acid (2.62 %) which is the most efficient for conservation of grassy forages. Application of the preserving agent in dose of 20 liter/ton of silage weights made it possible to lower dry matter losses on 1.8%, crude protein - on 8.2%, sugar - on 10% and carotin - on 6.7%. Inclusion of a silo with gluten water in structure of cow diets made it possible to raise dairy efficiency of 3.1%, fat content of milk on 0.02%. Economic benefit from feeding a cereal and leguminous silo with gluten water during experiment has made up to 21.5 thousand Belarusian rubles.
