Maize (Zea Mays) is one of the most popular cultivars all over the world, grown as food, feeding and technical crop. High content of available energy in raw material of maize along with silo determines increase of maize acreage annually. Rational fertilizers application is one of the essential directions of maize crop yield increasing; organic fertilizers are the best ones to be absorbed by the cultivar. Comparative efficacy of organic composts, sapropel and litter cattle manure in the green mass of maize, cultivated on sod-podzolic sandy loam soil is studied. Influence of organic fertilizers on crop yield of green mass of maize on sod-podzolic sandy loam soil is presented. The role of separate factors in formation of crop yield of green mass of maize is evaluated. Influence of different types of fertilizers on the content of the most important nutritive elements in green mass of maize, % in dry matter (average per 2010-2011), is analyzed. Removal of nutritive elements by the green mass of maize depending on used fertilizers on sod-podzolic sandy loam soil is shown. Balance of nutritive elements in the process of maize cultivation on sod-podzolic sandy loam soil is calculated.
