Using Metafrontier Approach for Estimating Technical Efficiency Biogas

The major objective of this study is to estimate the technical efficiencies and technological gaps of small scale biogas plant in different regions in Bangladesh. Non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model has applied to measure the technical efficiency and technological gaps among the regions with the help of metafrontier approach. There were no visible differences of technological gaps or even the regional and metafrontier technical efficiencies.
