Evaluation the effectiveness of Nitroxin biofertilizer for increasing yield of wheat

Nitroxin is one of the PGPR biofertilizers produced in Iran, but its effectiveness on wheat is not clear. A field experiment was carried out in Fars province to evaluate the effectiveness of Nitroxin on wheat. The experment layout was a randomized complete block design with three treatments including: Blank (without inoculation), Inoculation with Nitroxin, and inoculation with sterile Nitroxin. The experiment had four replications. Results showed that inoculation of wheat with Nitroxin increased seed yield more than 1000 kg/ha compared to blank and sterile Nitroxin. Number of panicles and number of seeds in panicle was also promoted by application of Nitroxin.
