Planting date and density are the important factors in agricultural production. This experiment was evaluated the planting date, density and their interaction on qualitative and quantitative characteristics. of Shadegani melon. This project was conducted as split plot design with three replications. Main treatment and sub-treatment were four different planting dates (14th Feb., 1st Mar., 16th Mar., 30th Mar.) and four different plant distances (30, 45,60 and 75 centimeters), respectively. Many characteristics (including germination date, flowering date, length and wide fruit, Tss, mean fruit weight, yield, and diseases and insects injury) were measured. Combined analysis of variance were showed that planting dates were had significantly differences in yield (_¿=1%), no other traits. Different densities were had significantly differences in yield (_¿=1%) and Tss(_¿=5%) Interaction of planting date_~density was significant, just, for yield. The best planting date and density were Ist Mar. and 45 cm distance with producing 13840 Kgha-1 yield.
