Changing the density of pine wood after damage by fire | Изменение плотности древесины сосны после повреждения пожаром

英语. The paper presents results of experimental studies on the effects of high temperature (HT) on the wood of pine. It is established that under the influence of HT there is a destruction of timber resin ducts in the trunk at a height of burning, followed by the expiration of the resin down. Under HT evaporation of the volatile part of dip occurred – turpentine, and colophony (which has high density) impregnated wood, thereby increasing its density and also created favorable conditions for development of fungi. The mechanical features of this wood are the same but it needs further drying under the temperature of 45 deg. The investigations were taken, which allowed explaining the reason for tarring wood after fire damage in more detail. We revealed changes in resiniferous apparatus of pine under the influence of heat. Under high temperature water in wood at burning level boils, steam is formed and under the influence of temperature gradient it directs to the top of the crown. At the same moisture content in the sapwood of the butt is reduced by about 2 times, and at a height corresponding to the defeat of the fire it is reduced slightly. Well developed resiniferous apparatus that provides quick response to any damage of the barrel, indicates high viability of pine plantations. It is established that in damage of trunk of pine wood, fire increases the number of resin ducts, damages their location in the annual layer. In the damaged wood the number of resin ducts increases, and their structure partially misses epithelial cells. Dimensions of pathological resin ducts are approximately the same as in undamaged wood. But they already do not have precise and definite structure, which is observed in intact wood. Similar changes in the structure of wood are marked by mechanical damage of wood, frost, etc.

俄语. Представлены результаты экспериментальных исследований воздействия высокой температуры (ВТ) на древесину сосны. Установлено, что при ВТ в древесине происходит разрушение смоляных ходов по высоте ствола на уровне подгара, сопровождаемое истечением смолы вниз. Под воздействием ВТ летучая часть живицы (скипидар) испаряется, а канифоль (имеющая высокую плотность) пропитывает древесину, тем самым повышая её плотность и одновременно создавая благоприятные условия для развития грибов. Механические свойства такой древесины практически сохраняются, но в дальнейшем ее необходимо высушить при температуре выше 45 град. С, в противном случае дереворазрушающие грибы сохранят жизнеспособность. Выявлены также причины засмоления древесины после поражения огнем - изменения в смолообразующем аппарате сосны под действием ВТ. В момент пожара вода в древесине на уровне подгара закипает, превращается в пар и под действием температурного градиента устремляется вверх к кроне. При этом влажность заболони в комлевой части уменьшается примерно в 2 раза, а на высоте, соответствующей поражению пожаром, понижается незначительно. Хорошо развитый смолоносный аппарат, который обеспечивает быструю реакцию на любые поражения ствола, указывает на высокую жизнеспособность сосновых насаждений. Установлено, что при повреждении ствола сосны огнем в древесине увеличивается количество смоляных ходов, нарушается упорядоченность их расположения в годичном слое, в ходах частично утрачиваются эпителиальные клетки. Размеры патологических смоляных ходов остаются примерно такими же, что и в неповрежденной древесине. Аналогичные изменения в структуре древесины отмечены при механическом повреждении, поражении морозом и др.
