In Slovenia, there is deficient data about the presence of mycotoxins in silage. Therefore 23 grass and 21 maize silage samples from different regions of Slovenia were examined. Using the gas chromatography the short-chain fatty acids content in silage were set. 48 % of grass and 76 % of maize silage were evaluated to be of very good quality.
