[The Effect of Lysine and Methionine Levels in The Plant Mixtures on Productive Performance and Caracass Traits of Broilers]

The study was carried out on 1464 of the hybrid LOHMAN broiler chicks at the experimental station.faculty of agriculture.Damascus university.chicken were divided into 8 groups (182each) since the first day of age, every group included 3 replicates of (61each).the replicate birds were fattened in independent room of open housing on deep litter till 42 days.All housing and management were similar for all chickens.But the feeding of chickens was different throughout the fattening period, so the lysine and methionine auantities adding to the mixtures was as follows: - First group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (1kg/ton) and without lysine each. - Second group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (1.5kg/ton) and without lysine each. - Third group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (2kg/ton) and without lysine each. - Fourth group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (2.5kg/ton) and without lysine each. - Fifth group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (1kg/ton) and lysine (1kg/ton) each. - Sixth group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (1.5kg/ton) and lysine (1kg/ton) each. - Seventh group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (2kg/ton) and lysine (1kg/ton) each. - Eighth group: chickens were fed 3 plants mixtures which supplemented of methionine (2.5kg/ton) and lysine (1kg/ton) each,so thestudy was factor (2*4).tow levels of lysine supplementations which were 0 and 1 kg/ton, and four levels of methionine supplementations which were 1,1.5,2 and 2.5 kg/ton. Result showed: - Adding lysine to plant mixtures compared with no add caused to: 1- Significant improvement in the mean of final living weight of broiler by ratio of 5.6%. 2- Significant increase in the mean of feed intake throughout all the fattening period by ratio 2.2%. 3- Significant decrease in the mean of feed conversion factor Throughout all the fattening period by ratio 3.4%. 4- No effect on the indicators of slaughtering and the characteristies of the caracass. 5- Increasing of winning indicate ,which resulting of fattening operation, by ratio 3.5% Adding methionine to plant mixtures by ratio of 2kg/ton compared with adding it by ratio 1kg/ton caused to: 1- Significant increase in the decease ratio throughout all fatting period. 2- Improve in the mean of living weight but it wasnot significant. 3- Increase in the mean of feed conversion factor tyroughout all fatting period , but it wasnot significant 4- NO significant effect on the indicators of slaughtering and the characteristies of caracass. 5- Increasing of winning indicate which resulting of fatting operation by ratio 3.5 % .
