Methods of soil cultivating are considered as the most important operations that change the soil, and prepare it to receive multiplications units of the crops that we want to plant, and to provide the suitable conditions for feeding the plant later, and to increase the production and to improve the quality along with keeping the various properties of the soil, starting from this importance, the research was executed in the Southern Western area of Homs provency Al-Quseer during the planting season of the years 2009-2010 using three different methods of cultivation(the turning tillage by using turning plough, the turning tillage by using disk plough, the non-turning tillage by using chisel plough) to plant it of maize crop (Ghotta-82) variety after study and statistical analysis for the research results using the statistical program (SPSS for Widnows 15) and comparing average tests LSD, has revealed the superiority of the turning plough over the other methods that are used in the research, as for outward density for the planted soil, and as for its moisture content, also for preventing the grow and the spreading of hurtful plants in the planting unit, and increasing the quantity of maize plants in the planting unit, its length, its yield elements, and for seed crop, and as for wet and dry weight of plant leaves and stalks also the wrapping corns , and Protein average in its seed in the research area.
