In 2005-2007 years the field trial on experimental base SUA in Nitra - Dolná Malanta was founded (175 m altitude, Haplic Luvisols (WRB), maize growing region). The plants of pea, field thistle and scentless mayweed were selected from area 4x0,25 square m in three evaluation terms (May, June, July) for purpose of harmfulness rate detection - according to crop (CEj) and nutrient (NEj) equivalents CEj = WwAVc, where: CEj = crop equivalent for certain weed species i, Ww weed dry mass weight, Wc = crop dry mass weight. NEj = Qcw/Qcv, where: Qcw = Ccw /Wcw, Qcv = CCV/WCV) NEj = nutrient equivalent for element taking of certain weed species i, Wcw - one weed plant diy mass weight (mg), Wcv - one crop plant dry mass weight (mg), Ccw - element taking by one weed plant (mg), Ccv - element taking by one crop plant (mg). Weeds were the most competed to pea (CEi and NEi were the highest) in May (pea BBCH 19-20, weeds BBCH 40), less in June and July. The most taken elements were Ca (by field thistle), then K and Mg (by scentless mayweed).
