Rearing the pentatomid bug, Eocanthecona furcellata (Wolff) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae), with different amounts of 6, 8 and 10 grams, preys, the silk worm Bombyx mori L. (Lepidotera: Bombycidae) found that the treatments gave no significant differences (P GT 0.05) in the number of eggs laid per generation by the pentatomid bugs. The average number of eggs laid when the pentatomid bugs fed with the amount of silk worm 6, 8 and 10 grams, were 71.56 +- 5.26, 88.77 +- 1.82 and 90.26 +- 24.61, respectively. The pentatomid bugs reared on 10 g of silk worm gave faster accumulation death than those reared on 6 and 8 g. Considering the average weight (grams) of the pentatomid bugs when reared on the three treatments, it was observed that they gave similar of average weights. It could be concluded that 6 grams of the silk worm would be sufficient for the rearing of these bugs.
