The paper deals with the practical monitoring of fields and the ways of using the terrestrial and satellite data. Ground based data were used to validate the results obtained from the processing and interpretation of satellite images. They are collected within the bounds of conducted 2011 satellite experiments in the test area resident of Bulgaria as participant in the PROAGROBURO Project.
