In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was examined the influence of the content of productive moisture and density of sward-podzolic sandy loams with different levels of humidity on the transition of 137Cs into plants. There was established the dependence of the parameters of radionuclide migration in the system soil–plant on the stores of productive moisture in soil profile and soil density. Minimal accumulation of radionuclide in plants is observed with the moisture level of 31-35 mm in the soil layer of 0-20 cm, in the layer 0-50 cm – 80-99 mm, and with the density of arable horizon – 1.25-1.29 g/cm3.
