In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of the research showing the response of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) hybrids to the compositions of nutritious solutions. There was also given the comparative evaluation of productivity and quality of grown hybrids. In case of application of an experimental nutritious solution the average productivity of tomato fruits has made 40.5-44.5 kg/m2, a traditional one – 38.5-41.3 kg/m2. The yield increase was 2,7-4,0 kg/m2. It was established that tomato hybrids showed individual reaction to the conditions of cultivation and to the type of applied nutritious solution. The highest productivity among hybrids was stated for F1 Gayana after its cultivation on traditional and experimental nutritious solutions (respectively, 41.3 kg/m2 and 44.5 kg/m2). The content of dry substance in the fruits of tomato hybrids which were grown up during the spring period with the experimental nutritious solution has made 5.1-5.3% that was on 0.1-0.2% higher, than with the traditional solution use. In summer period the same indexes were 4.7-4.9%. In F1 hybrids Starbuk and Gayana during the spring and summer periods of cultivation the content of dry substance in tomato fruits at cultivation on an experimental solution has made 4.8-5.3%, that was on 4.0% higher, than on a traditional nutritious solution. The maximum quantity of vitamin C (8.9 and 8.8 mg of %) was noted in fruits of F1 hybrids Raisa and Gayana harvested in the summer period at cultivation on a traditional nutritious solution. It was established, that during the summer period parameters of titrating acidities decreased on 0.03-0.11% in comparison with the contents of acidity of 0.39-0.49% during the spring period. In the tomato fruits harvested during the summer period there were marked almost optimum parameters of titrating acidities in F1 hybrids of tomato Starbuk and Gayana – 0.34 and 0.39%. The content of carotin in the tomato fruits which were grown up during the summer period were on 40.0-61.0% higher in comparison with the spring period.
