In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of studies on optimization of concentration of salts in a substratum for seedlings of the following for recognized varieties of vegetable crops: Zhnivenskaya variety of white cabbage (Brassica oleracea convar. capitata var. alba L.), Vazha variety of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum), F1 variety Yanus of cucumber (Cucumis sativus), and Parnas variety of sweet pepper (Capsicum frutescens). There was studied influence of doses of mineral fertilizers on content of nutritious elements in high-moor peat. Research results showed that use of an organic national matter of high-moor peat as a root zone and application of optimum dozes of fertilizers at cultivation of tomato (N170P160K400 gram/cubic meter), cucumber (N120P140K300), sweet pepper (N140P140K290) and early cabbage (N180P120K500) provided increase in diameter of a stalk seedling cultures on 0.3-0.5 mm, vegetative weight on 2-3 gram.
