In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed the optimal level of introduction of chrome (chromic sulphate (III), 6-chromic liquor) into diets of breeding sows and its influence on their fertility rate, hormonal status reproductive abilities. We have analyzed reproductive indicators of sows, the growth and development of suckling piglets with the introduction of chromium into the ration of sows. The research took into account the following indicators: productivity of sows, the size of piglets, milk productivity, live weight of piglets at birth, in the 21st day, at weaning, viability of piglets during suckling period. Thus, the data of the experiment helped to establish positive influence of chromium on the examined indicators and suggest optimal dose of chromium. Research results showed that the optimal chrome level in diets of the sows was 20 mg per 1 kg of dry matter of a ration. This dose promoted the following indexes: fertility rare – 88.5%; reproductive ability – 11.0 heads; average live weight of a piglet at bith – 1.21 kg, etc.
