In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of research into adaptability properties of collection variety samples of long-fibered flax (Linum usitatissimum) according to productivity and the content of long fiber, duration of vegetation period, seed productivity and height of plants. Research was realized at an experiment field of the Institute of Flax in 2009-2011. Soil of experiment plots was sod-podsolic and sandy loam. Predecessors within researches were winter grain. Research results established that changeability of most indicators of the examined varieties was mostly caused by the environmental conditions. The maximal influence of year conditions was on duration of the vegetative period (93.3%). Genotypic peculiar features of a variety rendered influence on the content of the general fibre (50.45 %) and long fibre content (41.1 %). There were selected variety samples with stable and potentially high yield and content of long fiber (Melina, Ar 5, Yarok, Velich, Rina, Antej, Alfa, Fort) and high seed productivity (Azur, Aleksim, Vita, Istok, Daros 1).
