In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was estimated economic value and changeability of biochemical composition of goat's rue (Galega orientalis L.) depending on the phases of plants' development. There were presented results of estimation of variety samples of goat's rue in competitive variety testing according to the yield of green mass, dry matter and seeds. There was given biochemical characteristics of variety samples and estimated them according to their value as fodder. According to the results of economic and biochemical estimation, we have selected the best variety samples BSAA-2, SEG-1 and SEG-2, with the yield of green mass of 79.9, 82.4 and 77.3 t/ha; dry matter - 15.7, 17.8 and 17.6 t/ha; and seeds - 0.48, 0.32 and 0.31 t/ha correspondingly. It was established that amino acid composition of protein depends on variety peculiarities. General content of amino acids amounted to: in BSAA-2 - 95.08%, SEG-1 - 95.09% and SEG-2 - 95.18% against 92.1% in egg's white. There was noted a higher than standard content of several irreplaceable amino acids. Thus, the content of threonine was higher in variety samples SEG-2 and BSAA-2 and amounted to 4.13% against 4.02% in standard variety Nesterka. 4.05% in FAO standard and 3.6% in egg's white. Variety SEG-2 had the highest content of leucine and lysine. According to the content of phenylalanine and tryptophan, a higher than the FAO standard content was noted in all variety samples of goat's rue. The total of irreplaceable amino acids amounted to: in BSAA - 31.9%, SEG-2 -31.7%, in FAO standard-30.8%.
