The main tendencies of the development of innovative production based on technological forecasting and evaluation of utilization of natural resources are outlined in the book. Data about contemporary status and utilization of the most important natural resources of the Republic of Belarus in national economy is presented. General review of fuel and power resources is presented, concepts of application, consumption and saving of the main fuels are shown. Scientific and methodological approaches for the development of prognosis models of perspective planning of the main characteristics of fuel and power resources of the Republic of Belarus are given. Modern status of the development of domestic renewable and non-traditional energy resources is evaluated; main perspectives of their utilization are described. Natural potential of water resources, used in different branches of national economy, is evaluated. Ecological capital of mineral resources, their procurement, actual reserves, quality and utilization is analyzed. Land and forest resources are researched, wild animal reserves are analyzed. Peat lands and decay ooze resources of the Republic of Belarus are analyzed; the most important problems of their utilization in national economy are described. Wastes and secondary resources of all types are evaluated, their economic use is substantiated. Scientific and methodological principles of evaluation of the cost of natural resources are formed; recommendations upon analysis of resource supply of high, new and innovative production branches up to 2015 are given. Principles of planning and training of high-qualified specialists, occupied in innovative production are suggested. Scientific and methodological base for evaluation of the main economic and financial characteristics of innovative projects, applied in different production spheres, is formed. Predictable economic efficiency of innovative projects is calculated. Mathematical models, describing main innovations, and automatic information system, supporting future functioning of adopted innovations, are developed and offered. Summarized information about main achievements and perspectives of utilization of innovations is given.
