In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of theoretical analysis of the influence of divergence angle of cutting edges of improved knives of rotor mower on the coordinate of masses centre, the value of peripheral speed of the centre of mass, of impulse of force, the moment of inertia and kinetic energy of knife. Problem of this research was studying the dependence of the parameters influencing the process of cutting of vegetation on the angle of deviation of cutting edges. In course of the study there was developed a c structural model scheme to the analysis of an angle of cutting edges of knives The analysis of theoretical dependences and conducted calculations with the use of applied package of programme COMPASS-3DV13 helps to make a conclusion that the rational value of divergence angle of cutting edges will be beta equal to 65-70 deg C. There were presented graphic dependences of coordinate of location of mass, circumference speed of center-of-mass velocity, power impulse, mass moment of inertia, and kinetic energy of a knife depending on the angle of deviation of cutting edges.
