Some social and economic factors affecting of reproductive health of rural women in Sharkia and Menia governorate

The study aimed to identifying patterns of reproductive health for rural women in both community and to identifying the differences between interviewees with respect to variables of reproductive health and significance variations in both community as well as testing significance of relationship between social and economic variables studied and the total degree to reproductive health for rural women in both community and to identifying the degree of participation of both husband and wife in the decision-making variables on reproductive health for rural women in both community. The research was conducted in Sharkia and Menia Governorate according to the standard total fertility rate and has been selected the center of Zigzag in Sharkia Governorate and the Centre for Malawi in Menia according to a standard number of rural family have been using the same criterion in determining the villages Find a [shobak Basta] Center of Zigzag and village [Hor] Center of Malawi. Data were collected from sample of 200 interviewees using personal interview a questionnaire and the following statistics methods were used In data analysis simple correlation coefficient of Pearson and chi square test and test the T of the difference between the averages and test Z (score) frequencies and percentages. The most important results of the analysis as follows: 62% of the wives of Menia located in low pattern of reproductive health compared with 30% of the wives of Sharkia a significant difference bety.reen interviewees in both community of the following variables: the use of a means of family planning favorite age of marriage for children female favorite age of marriage for sons the intention of undergoing the procedure for girls females the degree of knowledge interviewees health problems for women during pregnancy and childbirth and after birth the number of times of reproduction the degree of knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases attitude towards early marriage of girls. -As for the extent of participation of both husband and wife in the decision-making variables reproductive health found that 75% of husband in sharkia are the decision makers to use their wives as a means of family planning compared to 93% of the husband in Mina Governorate while 82% of husband in sharkla are the designated according to the stan favorite marriage for girls compared with 88% of husband in Mina Governorate and a variable number of times reproduction found that 61% of husband in sharkia are designated to the number of times the reproduction of their wives comparative 83% of husband of Menia Governorate
