Yield trial and adaptibility of late and medium maturing hybrids of maize in final stage
2012
Rafiee, Masoud | Chokan, R
In order to select the best late and medium maturing hybrids of maize in final stage for different parts of Iran, spetialy Lorestan province, this experiment was done in different locations, such as Khorramabad in 2010 and 2011, using RCBD in 4 replications. Different agronomic traits were measured during growth period yearly. Simple analyse of variance was done after harvesting in each year and compound analyse of variance was done at the end. Result of compound analyse of variance showed the significant difference between years. Avarage grain yield of 8785.6 and 7484.2 kg/ha was produced in first and second year of experiment, respectively. Effect of year*genotype interaction was not significant. Highest grain yield of 8930.7, 8861.2 and 8754.2 kg/ha were produced by KSC704 (control), and genotypes KSC706 and K166B×k18 during two years, which were not differ from other genotypes
