Collection and identification of insects fauna in any region is a suitable scientific field for Bicecologic and systematic studies in that' region,therefor it make available possibility of access to rational control methods and integrated peat management Arasbaran forests .ecause having a special climatic featurs have an expanding biodiversity among them very Jifferent kinds of insect. For studing of thi3 diveroity collcoting and idontication of Arasbaran forests insect founa has began in Natural Resource and Domestic Animals osearch center since 1993. During the plan performance more than 1200 pnies of 18 order and 112 families of different insects collected. From this specimens 243 cases genus nd species level and 877 case to family level have identifjed. Among these species, there are some important pests of forest trees and also benifit(tor example: predators and parasitoids) insects. The collected insects fixed by pest and disearse group of research division of natural sources. They transfered to the special drawers of insects preservation cornel after dentificathn as follow: order, Family and setting up genus name, the collection data and name of cellector. Most of these specimens identified by resources and existent books in center And some others was named by responsible outhorities. of Iran ( Tabriz university and reserch institute of pests and deases ) and foreign countries such as bugs insects identified by A Matocq from France. .
