In order to study genetic evaluation and yield component in 12 clones of Mentha spp, an experiment was conducted as a randomized complete block design with three replicated at Agricultural Research center of Isfahan, Located at Ganatabed , in 2000 . The results of analysis of variance showed significant differences among clones for all charaeters . Also coefficiant of correlation showed that The correlation of yield with plant height was highly significant. The results of stepwise regression analysis showed that plant height and day to 100 flowering were the most important component of yield per m 2 _ Factor analysis for 12 clones Mentha spp and seven character revealed 3 factors which justified more than 85.7 percent of the total variation . The first factor included number nodes and day to 100 percent flowering , and was named phenologic factor. The second factor inclued plant height and yield per m 2 , and was named yield factor . The third factor included number nodes , and was named number factor . Therefore , suggested that for increase yield . have to noticed on height plant and day to 100 flowering.
