For determination of rangeland capacity and prevention of vegetation cover, soil and water resources deterioration and reduction, the recognition of allowable use of key and the most important rangeland species is necessary. In this research the species of Agropyron intermedium, Bromus tomentellus, Festuca ovina, Orryzopsis holciformis, Stipa hohenackeriana and Thy. Fedtschenkoi which are the key and most important species in Firuzkoh Lazoor rangelands were investigated. First of all 1 hectare area with suitable condition were selected and enclosed in the first year. Then 40 individuals plant were selected from each species and treated with 4 treatments including control, 25%, 50% and 75% harvesting with one background sample (each 10 individuals with one treatment). The harvesting was done monthly in grazing season of this area. The influence of harvesting were determinate with study the changing of phenological and seed characteristics, forage production, vigurity condition and other characteristics of selected plant species. The results showed that with increasing of the harvesting of plant species causes deterioration of vegetation and vital abilities of plant species specially 2 species of Ag. intermedium and Or. holciformis which are very sensitive to over grazing and 25% is suitable for them. On the basis of this investigation the allowable use of 50% for foure species of Br. tomentellus, Fe. ovina, Sti. hohenackeriana and Thy. fedtschenkoi were suitable and with the least negative effects plant characteristics.
