Study of cotton cultivars seed mixture effect on yield, yield companents and fiber quality attributes in Golestan provience

This study was carried out for two years in Golestan- kordkuy as randomized complete block design with three replications in 2010 with the purpose of evaluation effects sole crop(Sahel,Armaghan,Sepid,Golestan)mix crop cotton triats.Planting state hadent sinificant effect on total seed cotton, but Armaghan sole crop produced the highest yield(2808kg.ha-1).Fiber length and strength affected by planting state. Sahel, Sepid and Golestan sole crop produced highest fiber length,32.5, 30.4and30.3mm,respectively.Mix cropping of Armaghan+Golestan, Sepid sole crop, mix cropping of Sahel+Sepid, Sahel sole crop and Armaghan sole crop had the most fiber strength, 27.5, 27.1, 26.9 and 26.5 gr.text-1, respectively.
